BMW 528iMein BMW 528i gehört zu den letzten von BMW Deutschland gefertigten BMW E12. Nur noch 238 Modelle des BMW 528i wurden danach produziert! Er weist schon einige Parallelen zum neueren BMW E28 auf. Die Produktion war im März 1981 (Werk 1.2) in Dingolfing. Die Auslieferung erfolgte am 12.08.1981 an die Firma BMW Brandenburg in Düsseldorf, also zu einer Zeit in der der BMW E28 längst den BMW E12 abgelöst hatte. Der Erstzulassung des Wagens erfolge im Jahr darauf am 22. Januar 1982.
Als Firmenwagen diente er in den ersten 1 1/2 Jahren für ein bekannstes Schuhhaus in Neuss (Rheinland). Die Zweitbesitzerin fuhr den Wagen bis Ende 1985. Nun stand der Wagen wieder lange Zeit bei einem Händler, bis er dann Anfang 1987 mit dem Kilometerstand 72.500 wieder zugelassen wurde. Der dritte Besitzer wechselte nach kurzer Zeit das Kennzeichen auf NE-D 900. Am 06.06.1991 wechselte er erneut auf NE-E 500. Er archivierte liebevoll ab 1987 sämtliche Rechnungsbelege zu seinem BMW.
My BMW 528i is one of the very last BMW E12 manufactured by BMW Germany. Only 238 models of the BMW 528i were produced thereafter! It already exhibits some parallels to the newer BMW E28. Production was in March 1981 (Work 1.2) in Dingolfing. The distribution took place to 12.08.1981 to the company BMW Brandenburg in Duesseldorf. At that time the BMW E28 replaced the BMW E12 for several months. In the year after on 22 January 1982 the car was sold to the first owner.
As company car it served into the first 1 1/2 year for a favorite shoeshop in Neuss (Rhineland). The secondary owner drove the car until the end of 1985. Now the car stood again long time at a dealer, until it was sold again at the beginning of 1987 with 72,500 kilometers at the speedometer. The third owner changed the plates to NE-D 900 for a short time. At 06.06.1991 it was changed again to NE-E 500. He archived affectionately all bills from 1987 to now.
